Going forward, the trek is a 13 km climb to Ghangaria, that is then followed by a 4km ascent to the Valley of Flowers. Straight after there is then a 6km trek that takes one to Hemkund Sahib – which is famously known as a sikh pilgrimage site! Best Time To Visit Valley of Flowers If you’re wondering what’s the best time to go on this trek then it is from July to September! This is the time when the flowers are in full bloom. Also, this trek is opened to the public from June 1st to the beginning of October!

At this trek, the journey begins in the sacred city of Haridwar, setting the stage for a scenic adventure. Yes, the drive to Joshimath is long, but the views are just majestic.
Route: Haridwar → Rishikesh → Panch Prayag (Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karanprayag, Nandprayag & Vishnuprayag)

On Day 2, after having breakfast in Joshimath, you’ll set off for Govindghat. Covering a distance of 22 km, the view on the journey is just majestic

Day 3 is the highlight for many trekkers—a day dedicated to exploring the stunning Valley of Flowers.
Route: Start from Ghangaria and venture into the Valley of Flowers.
Distance: The trek through the valley is approximately 6-7 km (round-trip may vary based on your pace).
Floral Spectacle: Encounter blossoms such as Rose, Meadow Geranium, Canine Flower, and Hooked Adhere Seed. The tranquil ambiance of the valley fills your soul with peace, leaving all worries behind.
Return: After immersing yourself in the valley’s natural beauty, trek back to Ghangaria.
Stay: Overnight in a guesthouse, sharing your experiences with fellow travellers.
On Day 4, you venture further to Hemkund Sahib, one of the most revered sites in the region.
Trek Details: A 6 km trek from Ghangaria takes you to Hemkund Sahib, located at an altitude of 4,329 meters.
Spiritual Experience: Hemkund Sahib is the world’s greatest Gurudwara located beside Hemkund lake.
Additional Sites: Explore nearby landmarks like the Laxman Temple, enriching your spiritual journey.
Return: Trek back to Ghangaria for another restful night in the guesthouse.
Begin Day 5 with breakfast at Ghangaria and prepare for your descent.
Route: Trek back to Govindghat covering 13 km.
Transfer: From Govindghat, a short 20-minute drive takes you back to Joshimath.
Meals: Enjoy packed food provided during the trek.
Overnight: Rest in a guesthouse in Joshimath.
The final day of your trek brings you back to Haridwar
Morning: Enjoy a comforting cup of tea or coffee after breakfast.
Travel: Begin your journey back to Haridwar, with a pleasant stop for lunch along the way.
Arrival: Reach Haridwar by approximately 8 p.m, concluding your memorable Valley of Flowers National Park trek.
If you go by flight, then you will land at Jolly Grant Airport which is around 39 km.
There are many trains to Haridwar from Delhi that are easily accessible.

Normally Trip on Himalaya expect to carry your personal luggage on your own; however, if you wish to offload your backpack, you can give it to a Mule.
Charges of offloading backpack:-
INR 1200/- if you make an online payment, 10 days in advance
The backpack cannot weigh more than 11 kgs. Backpack should have waterproof cover.
Suitcases/strolleys/ bags will not be allowed.
The fee can be paid by online transfer/check deposit/ demand draft. Instruction for payment will be forwarded along with your confirmation email. When your transfer is done, please email us a confirmation mail with your transfer details, so that we can follow up your reservation efficiently.
It is wise to make your booking at least two months in advance. However, if you want a good deal on your domestic/international flight, we recommend organising your trip at least five months in

Ans: We recommend one to visit during the rainy season to enjoy the maximum species of flowers. The best time to visit is July to August.

Ans: Since it’s a trek, kids below 5 years should be avoided. As per the maximum age, anyone who is capable of doing the trek and is healthy can go to the valley of flowers
