This is a winter trek for 4 to 6 days, and covers a distance of around 20 to 28 kilometers and reaches an altitude of 12,250 feet.
On your first day, you will travel from Rishikesh to Lohajung for about 10 hours. Your travel journey from Rishikesh to Lohajung will be full of amazing sights. You will see several beautiful spots during the journey. The journey is quite long yet you will never feel bored due to the lovely weather of the place. As you will move forward, you will come across various places including prayags of Uttarakhand.
As you gradually cross Karanprayag and approach Lohajung, the magnificent view of Nanda Ghunti mountain will come into view. It will undoubtedly make the trip worthwhile. You’ll be lodging at the Lohajung guest home. Dinner will be served to you at the same location. You will have more time to explore the guest house and unwind with a cup of tea in the evening the sooner you arrive.
You will set out on your trip from Lohajung on this day. After breakfast at the guest home, you’ll start your hike. The walk begins with a section through a woodland. You will soon arrive in the village known as Mandoli. You will witness a lot of new things here, such as traditional dhabas and mud dwellings. The surrounding greenery will calm you down. You will soon come to a valley where the Pindari and Kali rivers converge. You will come onto a large number of gorgeous red rhododendron trees after moving on for a while.
You will notice a wooden bridge and arrive at Begum (a rest stop) after leaving the settlement. You will cross multiple creeks after this. Gujrani Stream will be the final stream you cross. You will soon arrive in Bekaltal, which is stunning year-round.
You will truly feel content and at peace here. Thick oak trees envelop the area surrounding the camping area. Your hike will commence from Dhak Village. You’ll set up camp here. You may also see Khopdaliya Lake from this location. Your overnight stay will be here.
The hike today will take you through oak and rhododendron woods. Several lovely flowers will be in your path. You will soon come to Telandi Meadow, a meadow. Depending on the month you visit, you can observe this Telandi meadow turn into one that is both greener and snowier. But you will always find it gorgeous, no matter the season.
Once you’ve crossed this meadow, you’ll encounter a fall that takes you to Brahmatal. There is a temple that you can visit and investigate on your left. You can see Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, and numerous other breathtaking and enthralling peaks from the temple vicinity. The next level of adventure will be a campground close to the lake for the day.
You are going to walk towards Brahmatal today. You are going to experience the splendor of the Brahmatal Trek on this day. Along the route, you’ll pass by a ton of oak and rhododendron trees. There will be an abundance of lovely flowers to greet you. After making a few detours, you will eventually arrive at Brahmatal Lake. You will come upon a little stream near the lake that is formed by water from the melting snow. You’ll climb a number of passes to cross them. You’re almost at the top, where you can view the stunning peaks of Mt. Trishul and Mt. Nanda Ghunti.
This is an area for exploration and photo ops. This lovely place offers plenty of enjoyment. Once that’s over, you’ll begin your descent and pass peaks like Maitoli, Mandi, Neelkanth, and Trishul. Once you get at Tilbudi campsite, you will spend the night there. With its own unique beauty, the campsite is fully encircled by trees.
You will travel from Tilbudi via Wan to Lohajung on the fifth day of your trek. Walking about Wan will expose you to a plethora of picturesque scenes. It could be fun to take lots of photos with your pals. Then, in Chota Tilbudi, you will soon come to a little water source. You will eventually arrive in Wan Village, a stunning traditional village. And after a little stroll from here, you will be in Lohajung. Since this is your final night on the walk, spend the night here and have a great time.
On the final day, you will get back to Rishikesh from Lohajung.

If you will come by flight then you will reach Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun. There are daily flights from Delhi. After reaching Jolly Grant Airport, you will need to reach Rishikesh Railway Station(your pick-up point).
