The area is adorned with many lovely features, like snow-capped mountains, little towns nearby, dense forests, and a variety of plants and animals.
The 7 km trip from Himari to Sarutal, which takes 5–6 hours to complete, will be covered on the second day. Sarutal lies 2000 meters above sea level.
The hike begins with a steep climb and a traverse of several pine trees. It is advised that you always have water bottles on you. In between the voyage are a few high-altitude communities. It is advised that you adhere to your guide’s guidance and recommendations. You will first arrive in Bitri village, which is a lovely location in and of itself with a lot of tourist attractions. There are few wooden buildings here, the people are friendly, and the temples built in the Kinnauri style are breathtaking. After lunch, we’ll move on to Sarutal. We’re going to spend the night here, surrounded by the verdant meadow. You will spend the night in these tents after supper.
We are traveling 8 kilometers (or 2600 m) today from Sarutal to Badang, which will take us 5–6 hours to reach. A whole night in Badang is an experience unto itself. Devbasa, which is 3650 meters above sea level, is characterized as a rocky and plain area. Don’t forget to take pictures of the sunrise from Masunda Dhar at the start of your day hike; it’s the most breathtaking sight. You will see other locations along the way, including Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, and Ralgan. After there, there are a couple ridges you must traverse to get to your destination.
You will need to travel 7 kilometers today, which will take 4–5 hours, to get from Dev Basa to Baraadsar Ridge (4300m). Today’s walk is both lengthy and difficult.
