START DAY -01

HARIDWAR TO PHOOLCHATTI, VIA BARKOT

You must report to the Rahi Motel in Haridwar one day before to departure for this planned tour, which departs from Haridwar. Every Monday is the start of the tour, and the package also includes hotel accommodations for Sunday night. It will be necessary to pay for meals. An unair-conditioned bus with 27 seats serves as the means of transportation. At 7 am, the bus leaves. You will reach Barkot at around 1 pm after a really picturesque drive. The bus will resume its journey to Phoolchatti following a one-hour lunch break. At 5:30 p.m., you arrive in the tiny village of Phoolchatti. Arrive at the hotel, eat dinner, and unwind. Although there are 236 kilometres between Haridwar and Phoolchatti, the roads are decent and the trip is easy.

 

DAY- 02

PHOOLCHATTI TO YAMUNOTRI

The second day will include an 8-km drive and a 10-km trek (to & fro). You will depart from Phoolchatti at 6 am and breakfast will be at the GMVN Tourist Rest House in Jankichatti. You will arrive at Yamunotri at around 11 am. Visit Yamunotri, take a holy dip in the kund, offer prayers and puja and halt for lunch. After an hour, start your return journey to Phoolchatti and you will be back by evening. Check into the accommodation at Phoolchatti.

DAY -03

PHOOLCHATTI TO HARSIL

On the second day, there will be a 10-kilometer trek (to and fro) and an 8-kilometer drive. At six in the morning, you will leave Phoolchatti, and breakfast will be served at the GMVN Tourist Rest House in Jankichatti. Around eleven in the morning, you will reach Yamunotri. Take a holy bath in the kund, visit Yamunotri, perform puja and prayers, then stop for lunch. Start your trek back to Phoolchatti an hour later, and you should be there by dusk. Check into your Phoolchatti lodging.

 

DAY- 04

HARSIL TO GANGOTRI AND UTTARKASHI

The second day will include an 8-km drive and a 10-km trek (to & fro). You will depart from Phoolchatti at 6 am and breakfast will be at the GMVN Tourist Rest House in Jankichatti. You will arrive at Yamunotri at around 11 am. Visit Yamunotri, take a holy dip in the kund, offer prayers and puja and halt for lunch. After an hour, start your return journey to Phoolchatti and you will be back by evening. Check into the accommodation at Phoolchatti.

 DAY -05

UTTARKASHI TO GUPTKASHI, VIA CHAMBA/NEW TEHRI

On the fifth day, the bus will leave Uttarkashi at 6 am and travel about 275 km. The GMVN tourist rest lodge in Chinyalisaur will serve breakfast. Around twelve is when you will reach Chamba/NewTehri. You may tour the Tehri Dam and explore New Tehri. Around 1 pm, you will depart from New Tehri. The GMVN tourist rest house in Srinagar will serve as the lunch stop. At about 5:30 p.m., the bus will arrive in Guptkashi. After checking into your lodging, relax.

 

DAY- 06

GUPTKASHI TO KEDARNATH, VIA GAURIKUND

You will travel around 35 kilometres by bus on this day, followed by approximately 17 km of hiking.

The bus is scheduled to leave at 6 am and reach Gaurikund at approximately 9 am. Another option is to rent a doli (palanquin) or ride a pony. You will leave Gaurikund at 10 a.m. and arrive in Kedarnath around 5 p.m.At the Kedarnath temple, you can watch the nightly aarti, or divine ceremony, before going to bed.

DAY -07

KEDARNATH, GAURIKUND/RAMPUR TO TILWARA

To ensure you have enough time to pray at the temple of Kedarnath, leave your hotel early. After breakfast and prayers, you will begin the 17-kilometer hike back to Gaurikund. Another option is to rent a doli or ride a pony. Around 1 pm, you will reach Gaurikund/Rampur. Following lunch, you will board the bus and travel the approximately 60 kilometres to Tilwara. By 5 p.m., you will arrive in Tilwara and stop for the night.

 

DAY- 08

TILWARA, JOSHIMATH, BADRINATH

Joshimath is roughly 170 km from Tilwara, and you should be there at around twelve. The GMVN tourist rest lodge in Gauchar will be the location of the breakfast stop. Visit the Narsing temple in Joshimath for approximately an hour. You will depart Joshimath after lunch at approximately 1 pm and arrive in Badrinath at approximately 4.30 pm. Offer prayers and take part in the evening aarti (divine rite) at the Badrinath temple. You will spend the night in Badrinath.

DAY -09

BADRINATH, JOSHIMATH, KALESHWAR

After saying your morning prayers at the temple and taking a holy dip in the kund, you will begin your day at nine in the morning. Mana, the final Indian settlement, is about 20 km from the nation’s international boundary and is open for exploration. Around eleven o’clock, you will reach Joshimath and have lunch at the GMVN rest house. You will depart Joshimath at roughly 2:00 pm after lunch. You can take a cable car to Auli if you’d like. In the evening, you will arrive in Kaleshwar after travelling 114 kilometres from Badrinath.

DAY- 10

KALESHWAR, KAUDIYALA, HARIDWAR

You will travel about 230 kilometres by bus on the final day of the tour, leaving Kaleshwar at around 7 a.m. Around 1:00 pm, you will arrive in Kaudiyala and stop for lunch. The trip will resume after an hour-long break and arrive in Haridwar at approximately 5:00 p.m.
