The Dayara Bugyal trek is mostly known for its alpine meadows and the majestic views of the Himalayas. This beginner friendly trek starts from Raithal or Barsu village. The trek is highly adventurous, and a push point for many to experience beautiful landscapes and meadows!
The best time for the trek is in summer when the meadows are green, and the weather is pleasant. Also, in winter during december and february for snow trekking and skiing. This region is blanketed in snow.
This trek can be done at any time of the year, however one is avoided to go on this trek in the monsoon months. This very trek can be done for 8 months in one year, except for the rainy season. Trek through the forest line until you step out into the massive alpine meadow of Dayara Bugyal.
The landscape opens into stunning grassy slopes with 360° views of mighty peaks like Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, Srikanth, and more.
Reach the Dayara summit, enjoy the breathtaking panorama, relax, take photos, and soak in the high-altitude magic.
After spending time at the summit, descend back through the lush meadows to reach Gui campsite before evening.
