This journey, which is expected to cover 233 km, will take around 7 hours to complete. If necessary, we will stop for breaks and refreshments along the way. As you approach Sonprayag, which is located at an altitude of 1829 meters, this portion of the drive will offer you plenty of opportunities to see both vegetation and wildlife as well as changes in temperature and air quality. Sonprayag is well-known for being the location of the alleged marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Thus, this location has great spiritual significance.
We start our second day of travel to Kedarnath after spending a peaceful night at Sonprayag. This section of the tour will take you over a 16-kilometre trek, so be ready with all of your excitement. Trekking will undoubtedly revitalize both your body and spirit. We will take a taxi to Gaurikund, where the trekking adventure will start. To ensure that you finish the journey on time, trekking will begin at 4 AM. Additionally, the trip will take about 6 and 1/2 hours to finish, and once it is, you will be able to see Kedarnath, one of the holiest shrines in all of India. You will be able to see stunning views of Bheem Bali and jungle Chatti, two popular locations to stop for refreshments, throughout the journey. The hike reaches a high height of 3583 meters, therefore anyone with respiratory issues may find it challenging. A medical examination is therefore necessary. It is also impossible to put into words the sensation of being on top of the globe while admiring the magnificent peaks of Chaukhamba and Nanda Devi. We will travel to Chopta that same day, where you will once more be able to see a breathtaking night sky while there.

Kedarnath also boasts first-rate rail, aviation and road transit connections. From Haridwar, you can go straight to Kedarnath or stop for the day. The 240-kilometre journey is mostly on a ghat road, with the Ganges River flowing alongside and gorgeous mountain vistas in the backdrop.
Because the trail includes a lot of stones, it is best to rent a jeep with enough ground clearance if you are going with more than five or six people. Sonprayag is about 5 km from Gaurikund, the gateway of Gaurika. To guarantee that buses and cars drop off pilgrims at Sonprayag, a fence is erected.
